Collection of Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) rank insignia representing both Non-Commissioned Member (NCM) and Officer ranks. CAF rank devices are primarily worn on slip-on epaulettes, with designs varying slightly across the Army, Royal Canadian Navy, and Royal Canadian Air Force. Insignia are distinguished through combinations of chevrons, maple leaves, and crowns, each indicating specific levels of authority and seniority.

Chevrons (Junior NCM Ranks)
Chevrons-single, double, or triple stripes-identify junior NCM ranks such as Corporal and Master Corporal. These may appear on lower sleeves or slip-on epaulettes depending on uniform type.

Maple Leaves (Senior NCM & Warrant Officer Ranks)
Maple leaves are used in combination with chevrons or crowns to denote senior NCM positions, including Sergeant, Warrant Officer, and Master Warrant Officer. The number and arrangement of maple leaves indicate progression through the warrant ranks.

Crowns (Officer & Senior NCM Distinction)
Crowns-traditionally the St. Edward's Crown or King's Crown, depending on era-appear on officer slip-ons and are also used for the highest NCM rank, Chief Warrant Officer, where the crown is paired with a wreath and maple leaves. Officer ranks incorporate crowns alongside pips or bars to indicate commissioned status.

Branches: Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Navy, Royal Canadian Air Force.
