A superb matched offering of two complete boxed sets of NovaScotian Crystal Limited Edition Single Malt Scotch Glasses - among the most coveted expressions of Canadian artisan crystal production. Each pair is individually numbered from a strictly limited edition of only 1,000 pairs ever produced worldwide, with the commitment that this pattern will never be cut again.
Both sets are presented in their original luxurious hinged presentation boxes lined in rich burgundy velvet, each accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by master craftsmen Brian Tobin (blown by) and bearing the signature of G.W. Walker. The two pairs offered are No. 256/1000 and No. 258/1000 - a consecutive-pair opportunity of particular appeal to serious collectors.
The glasses themselves are quintessential NovaScotian Crystal - mouth-blown and hand-cut in Halifax, Nova Scotia, featuring the classic tulip-shaped single malt form with deeply hand-cut lower bowl decoration, faceted knop stem, and starburst-cut base. The shape was specifically designed to concentrate and enhance the aromatics of single malt Scotch whisky.
Both sets include original Christine Vaughan correspondence letters from NovaScotian Crystal (dated August 2004), original product brochures, and complete documentation. The brochure notes the historical connection to Celtic Piper tradition inspiring the glass design.
Condition: Both pairs in pristine, essentially unused condition. All original packaging, documentation, and correspondence intact and complete.
