Vintage Perko (Perkins Marine Lamps Corporation) solid brass/bronze ship's anchor or riding lantern, featuring the classic clear Fresnel lens and vented chimney top characteristic of early 20th-century marine lighting. These lanterns were widely used aboard commercial and private vessels for anchor illumination, prized for their durability, weather resistance, and highly efficient lens design.

This example retains its traditional cylindrical body, hinged top section, and heavy-gauge metal construction typical of Perko's pre-war and mid-century production. The clear Fresnel lens provides 360-degree visibility, and the lantern's patina suggests long-term maritime use or age-appropriate oxidation.

Manufacturer: Perko (Perkins Marine Lamps Corporation), Brooklyn, New York.
Materials: Solid brass or bronze; clear glass Fresnel lens.
Era: Early to mid-20th century.
Features: Vented top; cylindrical body; Fresnel lens; classic anchor/riding lamp form.
Notes: Representative example of authentic nautical lighting commonly found in marine collections and ship salvage auctions.
